Freeman Graphic Systems began as the Walter Floyd Co. of South Carolina as an extension of Walter Floyd's graphic supplies business in Charlotte, NC. Taking on Dewey M. Freeman as his partner in the South Carolina venture, Freeman quickly grew the business into a major player in the printing supplies world in just a few short years. Changing the name to Floyd-Freeman, as he bought out Mr. Floyd's share, and then on to Freeman Graphic Systems, as the market entered the digital age.
Freeman Graphic Systems was briefly associated with G.E. Richards Graphic Supplies of Pennsylvania as the graphic arts industry made paradigm shifts in it's approach to the printing market, but recently celebrated it's rebirth as a locally owned independent corporation catering to all phases of the printing industry, and able to give a unique and special attention to small and medium-sized operations.
