Company HistoryHelping printing businesses succeed for over 45 yearsFreeman Graphic Systems began in 1963 as the Walter Floyd Co. of South Carolina as an extension of Walter Floyd''s graphic supplies business in Charlotte, NC. Floyd took on Dewey M. Freeman as his partner in the South Carolina venture, and Freeman quickly grew the business into a major player in the printing supplies world in just a few short years. In 1963, as Mr. Freeman’s success continued, he purchased the company from Mr. Floyd and renamed the company as it is known today, Freeman Graphic Systems. During these changes, Mr. Freeman was able to position the company for the digital age. With all that change going on, the two things that Dewey Freeman and later his son, Bill Freeman, were not willing to change was the family feel of the business and helping clients succeed by providing the best service in the industry. They have never wavered from the belief passed from father to son that “We succeed only if our clients succeed.” Today, Freeman Graphic Systems has grown into a locally owned independent corporation catering to all phases of the printing industry with special focus on small- and medium-sized operations. Freeman Graphic Systems is in a unique position to offer expert service and supply you with the best equipment and supplies to help your facility achieve quality, efficiency and maximum profitability. Bottom line - We help you succeed by helping you be your best. |
